Celebrities
The term prominence is usually used in everyday life to designate the totality of outstanding personalities, but it can also neutrally mean the extent of individual public awareness, however acquired, and then refer not only to people but also, for example, to places. The word has come into use in German only since the beginning of the 20th century and is an equivalent to the literally synonymous term eminence, traditionally restricted to addressing high Catholic dignitaries.
Celebrities, or VIP's, are predominantly those people who are known for their public appearances. Celebrities are often actors, musicians and other entertainers who are frequently reported on in the press or on television. Politicians or athletes can also be prominent. In recent organizational theory and management research, it is assumed that CEOs of large companies also achieve broad public recognition. In addition to individual celebrity, collective celebrity is now also being researched, in that it is assumed that entire companies can become prominent.

Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn II
Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn (* 4 May 1929 as Audrey Kathleen Ruston in Ixelles/Elsene, Belgium; † 20 January 1993 in Tolochenaz, Switzerland) was an actress of British-Dutch descent. She was one of the biggest female film stars of the 1950s and 1960s. She was born in Belgium in 1929, the daughter of Joseph Victor Anthony Ruston (1889-1980), a Briton, and his Dutch wife Ella Baroness van Heemstra (1900-1984), and was granted British citizenship by descent. She had two half-brothers, Jonkheer Arnoud Robert Alexander Quarles van Ufford (1920-1979) and Jonkheer Ian Edgar Bruce Quarles van Ufford (1924-2010), from her mother's first marriage to Dutch nobleman Jonkheer Hendrik Gustaaf Adolf Quarles van Ufford. From 1935 to 1938 she attended a girls' school in the English county of Kent. When the Second World War broke out, the family moved in with her grandfather in Arnhem in the Netherlands, where she witnessed the German occupation from May 1940. During this time, she took ballet lessons at the Arnhem Conservatory. During the Allied advance in the winter of 1944/1945, she experienced the Hongerwinter. After the war, the family moved temporarily to Amsterdam. There she stood in front of a film camera for the first time in 1948 for the advertising film Nederlands in 7 Lessen by the documentary filmmaker Charles Huguenot van der Linden. Soon after, she went back to England where she trained with Marie Rambert to become a ballerina. To earn money, she first worked as a model and appeared in a few musicals in London's West End, followed by smaller roles in British films such as One Wild Oat and Happiness Came Overnight (both 1951). Roger Moore also appeared in One Wild Oat, but she did not have a scene with him. Stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Jean Simmons were considered for the leading role in the romantic comedy A Heart and a Crown (1953). Instead, the completely unknown Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn was given the role of Princess Ann, who falls in love with a reporter (Gregory Peck) in Rome. A Heart and a Crown developed into a box office hit and made the 24-year-old a star overnight. For her first leading role, she also received the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role on 26 March 1954. Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn, who had become a star with only one film, was one of the leading film actresses until the late 1960s. Tribute To Actor Marion Robert Morrison aka John Wayne
Tribute To Actor Marion Robert Morrison aka John Wayne (* 26 May 1907 in Winterset, Iowa; † 11 June 1979 in Los Angeles, California; born Marion Robert Morrison, later renamed Marion Mitchell Morrison), known as Duke, was an American film actor. He was among the most influential, successful and highest-paid Hollywood actors of his time. Throughout his 50-year career, Wayne starred in Western films. Wayne won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Marshal (1969). As an actor and private citizen, he embodied the traditional values of the pioneer era and became a larger-than-life figure in American film history. He was best known in the US by the nickname "Duke", after a dog he owned as a child. Like hardly any other actor, he is identified by the audience with a clearly defined character type, but also played complex character roles from time to time. In his films he developed the role of the rough-around-the-edges authority figure, appearing for example as a sheriff or a commanding officer, characterised by experience, toughness and tenacity. Even when he is under someone else's command, as in The Black Hawk, he is always the one who shapes events and only accepts orders as long as they do not run counter to his own intentions.Product Number: N05446Product Name: JohnWayneThis design comes with the following sizes:FSize: 5.40"(w) X 5.86"(h) (137.2mm X 148.8mm) Size: 5.44"(w) X 5.90"(h) (138.2mm X 149.8mm) Size: 5.48"(w) X 5.94"(h) (139.2mm X 150.8mm) Size: 5.69"(w) X 6.17"(h) (144.6mm X 156.8mm) Size: 5.73"(w) X 6.21"(h) (145.6mm X 157.8mm) Size: 5.80"(w) X 6.29"(h) (147.4mm X 159.8mm) Size: 5.95"(w) X 6.45"(h) (151.2mm X 163.8mm) Size: 6.13"(w) X 6.65"(h) (155.8mm X 168.8mm) Size: 6.79"(w) X 7.35"(h) (172.4mm X 186.8mm) Size: 6.82"(w) X 7.39"(h) (173.2mm X 187.8mm) Size: 6.90"(w) X 7.47"(h) (175.2mm X 189.8mm) Size: 7.08"(w) X 7.67"(h) (179.8mm X 194.8mm) Size: 7.19"(w) X 7.79"(h) (182.6mm X 197.8mm) Size: 7.26"(w) X 7.87"(h) (184.4mm X 199.8mm) Size: 7.76"(w) X 8.42"(h) (197.2mm X 213.8mm) Size: 7.84"(w) X 8.50"(h) (199.2mm X 215.8mm) Size: 7.91"(w) X 8.57"(h) (201.0mm X 217.8mm) Size: 8.17"(w) X 8.85"(h) (207.4mm X 224.8mm) Size: 8.35"(w) X 9.05"(h) (212.0mm X 229.8mm) Size: 8.68"(w) X 9.40"(h) (220.4mm X 238.8mm) Size: 8.71"(w) X 9.44"(h) (221.2mm X 239.8mm) Size: 9.29"(w) X 10.07"(h) (236.0mm X 255.8mm) Size: 9.54"(w) X 10.35"(h) (242.4mm X 262.8mm) Size: 10.09"(w) X 10.94"(h) (256.4mm X 277.8mm) Size: 10.31"(w) X 11.17"(h) (261.8mm X 283.8mm) Size: 10.53"(w) X 11.41"(h) (267.4mm X 289.8mm) Size: 11.43"(w) X 12.39"(h) (290.4mm X 314.8mm) Size: 11.58"(w) X 12.55"(h) (294.2mm X 318.8mm) Size: 12.71"(w) X 13.77"(h) (322.8mm X 349.8mm) The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .PEC .U01You MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file. Tribute to Historical Character Guy Fawkes III
Tribute to historical character Guy Fawkes (* April 13, 1570 in York; † January 31, 1606 in London, also spelled Guido as well as Faux or Faukes) was a Catholic officer of the Kingdom of England who attempted an explosive assassination of its King James I and the English Parliament in London on November 5, 1605. In commemoration of the failure of the so-called Gunpowder Plot, Bonfire Night is held annually in many places in England (especially by Anglicans) with traditional fireworks and torchlight processions. Fawkes served as a soldier for 12 years, gaining proficiency in the use of explosives. In 1593, he enlisted in the army of Archduke Albrecht VII of Habsburg in the Netherlands, where he fought against the Protestants in what became known as the Eighty Years' War. By 1602 he held the rank of ensign; he had been decorated as a brave and determined soldier. Tribute to historical character Guy Fawkes, Robert Catesby, and their co-conspirators attempted to blow up the English Parliament at the Palace of Westminster in London on November 5, 1605. The reason for this was the persecution to which members of the Catholic Church were subjected. For the assassination, he had already deposited 36 barrels containing more than two tons of black powder in the cellars of the buildings (hence the English name Gunpowder Plot for the assassination), which he had rented as storage space for this purpose. Fawkes planned to use the assassination on the day of the opening of Parliament in the House of Lords to kill King James I and his family, all the members of Parliament, all the bishops of the country and most of the high nobility, and then to free some political prisoners from the Tower of London. A Catholic king was then to be installed. One of the co-conspirators wrote a warning letter to the Catholic Lord Monteagle, he was advised to stay away from the opening of Parliament. Instead of keeping it secret though, he passed the letter on to the authorities. The conspirators heard about the warning letter but were not dissuaded from their plan after Fawkes assured them that the explosives had not been touched. Tribute to historical character Guy Fawkes and the stored explosives were discovered by Peace Judge Thomas Knyvet on the morning of November 5 during an inspection of the basements under Parliament. Under torture, Fawkes, who had been taken to the Tower, confessed his planned crime and named his co-conspirators, who were executed by hanging, disemboweling, and quartering on January 30, 1606. He shortened his punishment by jumping off the gallows platform with the noose around his neck just before he was pulled up and broke his neck.Product Number: N10596Product Name: GuyFawkesThis design comes with the following sizes:Size: 4.72"(w) X 4.47"(h) (119.8mm X 113.6mm) Size: 4.80"(w) X 4.55"(h) (121.8mm X 115.6mm) Size: 4.87"(w) X 4.62"(h) (123.8mm X 117.4mm) Size: 5.27"(w) X 5.00"(h) (133.8mm X 127.0mm) Size: 5.31"(w) X 5.03"(h) (134.8mm X 127.8mm) Size: 5.46"(w) X 5.18"(h) (138.8mm X 131.6mm) Size: 5.50"(w) X 5.22"(h) (139.6mm X 132.6mm) Size: 5.54"(w) X 5.26"(h) (140.8mm X 133.6mm) Size: 5.57"(w) X 5.29"(h) (141.6mm X 134.4mm) Size: 5.62"(w) X 5.33"(h) (142.8mm X 135.4mm) Size: 5.86"(w) X 5.56"(h) (148.8mm X 141.2mm) Size: 5.98"(w) X 5.67"(h) (151.8mm X 144.0mm) Size: 6.21"(w) X 5.89"(h) (157.8mm X 149.6mm) Size: 6.29"(w) X 5.97"(h) (159.8mm X 151.6mm) Size: 6.33"(w) X 6.01"(h) (160.8mm X 152.6mm) Size: 6.41"(w) X 6.08"(h) (162.8mm X 154.4mm) Size: 6.53"(w) X 6.19"(h) (165.8mm X 157.2mm) Size: 6.57"(w) X 6.23"(h) (166.8mm X 158.2mm) Size: 6.61"(w) X 6.27"(h) (167.8mm X 159.2mm) Size: 6.80"(w) X 6.45"(h) (172.6mm X 163.8mm) Size: 7.00"(w) X 6.64"(h) (177.8mm X 168.6mm) Size: 7.19"(w) X 6.83"(h) (182.6mm X 173.4mm) Size: 7.24"(w) X 6.87"(h) (183.8mm X 174.4mm) Size: 7.35"(w) X 6.98"(h) (186.6mm X 177.2mm) Size: 7.50"(w) X 7.13"(h) (190.6mm X 181.0mm) Size: 7.58"(w) X 7.20"(h) (192.6mm X 182.8mm) Size: 7.87"(w) X 7.46"(h) (199.8mm X 189.6mm) Size: 8.13"(w) X 7.72"(h) (206.6mm X 196.2mm) Size: 8.25"(w) X 7.83"(h) (209.6mm X 199.0mm) Size: 8.61"(w) X 8.17"(h) (218.8mm X 207.6mm) Size: 8.85"(w) X 8.39"(h) (224.8mm X 213.2mm) Size: 10.34"(w) X 9.81"(h) (262.6mm X 249.2mm)The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .PEC .U01You MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file. Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn I
Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn (* 4 May 1929 as Audrey Kathleen Ruston in Ixelles/Elsene, Belgium; † 20 January 1993 in Tolochenaz, Switzerland) was an actress of British-Dutch descent. Almost every one of her films became a commercial success, many are considered classics of film history. Her last role was that of an angel in the film Always (1989) by Steven Spielberg. Tribute to Historical Character Guy Fawkes II
He shortened his punishment by jumping off the gallows platform with the noose around his neck just before he was pulled up and broke his neck.Product Number: N10593Product Name: GuyFawkesMaskThis design comes with the following sizes:Size: 4.35"(w) X 5.66"(h) (110.4mm X 143.8mm) Size: 4.43"(w) X 5.78"(h) (112.6mm X 146.8mm) Size: 4.50"(w) X 5.86"(h) (114.2mm X 148.8mm) Size: 4.55"(w) X 5.94"(h) (115.6mm X 150.8mm) Size: 4.65"(w) X 6.06"(h) (118.0mm X 153.8mm) Size: 4.68"(w) X 6.09"(h) (118.8mm X 154.8mm) Size: 4.76"(w) X 6.21"(h) (121.0mm X 157.8mm) Size: 4.94"(w) X 6.45"(h) (125.6mm X 163.8mm) Size: 5.01"(w) X 6.53"(h) (127.2mm X 165.8mm) Size: 5.10"(w) X 6.65"(h) (129.6mm X 168.8mm) Size: 5.25"(w) X 6.84"(h) (133.4mm X 173.8mm) Size: 5.37"(w) X 7.00"(h) (136.4mm X 177.8mm) Size: 5.46"(w) X 7.12"(h) (138.8mm X 180.8mm) Size: 5.52"(w) X 7.20"(h) (140.2mm X 182.8mm) Size: 5.55"(w) X 7.24"(h) (141.0mm X 183.8mm) Size: 5.58"(w) X 7.28"(h) (141.8mm X 184.8mm) Size: 5.73"(w) X 7.47"(h) (145.6mm X 189.8mm) Size: 5.88"(w) X 7.67"(h) (149.4mm X 194.8mm) Size: 5.94"(w) X 7.75"(h) (151.0mm X 196.8mm) Size: 6.04"(w) X 7.87"(h) (153.4mm X 199.8mm) Size: 6.06"(w) X 7.91"(h) (154.0mm X 200.8mm) Size: 6.22"(w) X 8.10"(h) (158.0mm X 205.8mm) Size: 6.28"(w) X 8.18"(h) (159.4mm X 207.8mm) Size: 6.37"(w) X 8.30"(h) (161.8mm X 210.8mm) Size: 6.49"(w) X 8.46"(h) (164.8mm X 214.8mm) Size: 6.55"(w) X 8.54"(h) (166.4mm X 216.8mm) Size: 6.61"(w) X 8.61"(h) (167.8mm X 218.8mm) Size: 6.64"(w) X 8.65"(h) (168.6mm X 219.8mm) Size: 6.73"(w) X 8.77"(h) (171.0mm X 222.8mm) Size: 6.88"(w) X 8.97"(h) (174.8mm X 227.8mm) Size: 6.94"(w) X 9.05"(h) (176.4mm X 229.8mm) Size: 7.06"(w) X 9.20"(h) (179.4mm X 233.8mm) Size: 7.16"(w) X 9.32"(h) (181.8mm X 236.8mm) Size: 7.21"(w) X 9.40"(h) (183.2mm X 238.8mm) Size: 7.54"(w) X 9.83"(h) (191.6mm X 249.8mm) Size: 7.79"(w) X 10.15"(h) (197.8mm X 257.8mm) Size: 7.85"(w) X 10.23"(h) (199.4mm X 259.8mm) Size: 7.94"(w) X 10.35"(h) (201.6mm X 262.8mm) Size: 10.57"(w) X 13.77"(h) (268.4mm X 349.8mm)The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .PEC .U01You MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file.
