Celebrities
The term prominence is usually used in everyday life to designate the totality of outstanding personalities, but it can also neutrally mean the extent of individual public awareness, however acquired, and then refer not only to people but also, for example, to places. The word has come into use in German only since the beginning of the 20th century and is an equivalent to the literally synonymous term eminence, traditionally restricted to addressing high Catholic dignitaries.
Celebrities, or VIP's, are predominantly those people who are known for their public appearances. Celebrities are often actors, musicians and other entertainers who are frequently reported on in the press or on television. Politicians or athletes can also be prominent. In recent organizational theory and management research, it is assumed that CEOs of large companies also achieve broad public recognition. In addition to individual celebrity, collective celebrity is now also being researched, in that it is assumed that entire companies can become prominent.

Tribute to Historical Character Guy Fawkes III
Tribute to historical character Guy Fawkes (* April 13, 1570 in York; † January 31, 1606 in London, also spelled Guido as well as Faux or Faukes) was a Catholic officer of the Kingdom of England who attempted an explosive assassination of its King James I and the English Parliament in London on November 5, 1605. In commemoration of the failure of the so-called Gunpowder Plot, Bonfire Night is held annually in many places in England (especially by Anglicans) with traditional fireworks and torchlight processions. Fawkes served as a soldier for 12 years, gaining proficiency in the use of explosives. In 1593, he enlisted in the army of Archduke Albrecht VII of Habsburg in the Netherlands, where he fought against the Protestants in what became known as the Eighty Years' War. By 1602 he held the rank of ensign; he had been decorated as a brave and determined soldier. Tribute to historical character Guy Fawkes, Robert Catesby, and their co-conspirators attempted to blow up the English Parliament at the Palace of Westminster in London on November 5, 1605. The reason for this was the persecution to which members of the Catholic Church were subjected. For the assassination, he had already deposited 36 barrels containing more than two tons of black powder in the cellars of the buildings (hence the English name Gunpowder Plot for the assassination), which he had rented as storage space for this purpose. Fawkes planned to use the assassination on the day of the opening of Parliament in the House of Lords to kill King James I and his family, all the members of Parliament, all the bishops of the country and most of the high nobility, and then to free some political prisoners from the Tower of London. A Catholic king was then to be installed. One of the co-conspirators wrote a warning letter to the Catholic Lord Monteagle, he was advised to stay away from the opening of Parliament. Instead of keeping it secret though, he passed the letter on to the authorities. The conspirators heard about the warning letter but were not dissuaded from their plan after Fawkes assured them that the explosives had not been touched. Tribute to historical character Guy Fawkes and the stored explosives were discovered by Peace Judge Thomas Knyvet on the morning of November 5 during an inspection of the basements under Parliament. Under torture, Fawkes, who had been taken to the Tower, confessed his planned crime and named his co-conspirators, who were executed by hanging, disemboweling, and quartering on January 30, 1606. He shortened his punishment by jumping off the gallows platform with the noose around his neck just before he was pulled up and broke his neck.Product Number: N10596Product Name: GuyFawkesThis design comes with the following sizes:Size: 4.72"(w) X 4.47"(h) (119.8mm X 113.6mm) Size: 4.80"(w) X 4.55"(h) (121.8mm X 115.6mm) Size: 4.87"(w) X 4.62"(h) (123.8mm X 117.4mm) Size: 5.27"(w) X 5.00"(h) (133.8mm X 127.0mm) Size: 5.31"(w) X 5.03"(h) (134.8mm X 127.8mm) Size: 5.46"(w) X 5.18"(h) (138.8mm X 131.6mm) Size: 5.50"(w) X 5.22"(h) (139.6mm X 132.6mm) Size: 5.54"(w) X 5.26"(h) (140.8mm X 133.6mm) Size: 5.57"(w) X 5.29"(h) (141.6mm X 134.4mm) Size: 5.62"(w) X 5.33"(h) (142.8mm X 135.4mm) Size: 5.86"(w) X 5.56"(h) (148.8mm X 141.2mm) Size: 5.98"(w) X 5.67"(h) (151.8mm X 144.0mm) Size: 6.21"(w) X 5.89"(h) (157.8mm X 149.6mm) Size: 6.29"(w) X 5.97"(h) (159.8mm X 151.6mm) Size: 6.33"(w) X 6.01"(h) (160.8mm X 152.6mm) Size: 6.41"(w) X 6.08"(h) (162.8mm X 154.4mm) Size: 6.53"(w) X 6.19"(h) (165.8mm X 157.2mm) Size: 6.57"(w) X 6.23"(h) (166.8mm X 158.2mm) Size: 6.61"(w) X 6.27"(h) (167.8mm X 159.2mm) Size: 6.80"(w) X 6.45"(h) (172.6mm X 163.8mm) Size: 7.00"(w) X 6.64"(h) (177.8mm X 168.6mm) Size: 7.19"(w) X 6.83"(h) (182.6mm X 173.4mm) Size: 7.24"(w) X 6.87"(h) (183.8mm X 174.4mm) Size: 7.35"(w) X 6.98"(h) (186.6mm X 177.2mm) Size: 7.50"(w) X 7.13"(h) (190.6mm X 181.0mm) Size: 7.58"(w) X 7.20"(h) (192.6mm X 182.8mm) Size: 7.87"(w) X 7.46"(h) (199.8mm X 189.6mm) Size: 8.13"(w) X 7.72"(h) (206.6mm X 196.2mm) Size: 8.25"(w) X 7.83"(h) (209.6mm X 199.0mm) Size: 8.61"(w) X 8.17"(h) (218.8mm X 207.6mm) Size: 8.85"(w) X 8.39"(h) (224.8mm X 213.2mm) Size: 10.34"(w) X 9.81"(h) (262.6mm X 249.2mm)The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .PEC .U01You MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file. Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn I
Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn (* 4 May 1929 as Audrey Kathleen Ruston in Ixelles/Elsene, Belgium; † 20 January 1993 in Tolochenaz, Switzerland) was an actress of British-Dutch descent. She was one of the biggest female film stars of the 1950s and 1960s. She was born in Belgium in 1929, the daughter of Joseph Victor Anthony Ruston (1889-1980), a Briton, and his Dutch wife Ella Baroness van Heemstra (1900-1984), and was granted British citizenship by descent. She had two half-brothers, Jonkheer Arnoud Robert Alexander Quarles van Ufford (1920-1979) and Jonkheer Ian Edgar Bruce Quarles van Ufford (1924-2010), from her mother's first marriage to Dutch nobleman Jonkheer Hendrik Gustaaf Adolf Quarles van Ufford. From 1935 to 1938 she attended a girls' school in the English county of Kent. When the Second World War broke out, the family moved in with her grandfather in Arnhem in the Netherlands, where she witnessed the German occupation from May 1940. During this time, she took ballet lessons at the Arnhem Conservatory. During the Allied advance in the winter of 1944/1945, she experienced the Hongerwinter. After the war, the family moved temporarily to Amsterdam. There she stood in front of a film camera for the first time in 1948 for the advertising film Nederlands in 7 Lessen by the documentary filmmaker Charles Huguenot van der Linden. Soon after, she went back to England where she trained with Marie Rambert to become a ballerina. To earn money, she first worked as a model and appeared in a few musicals in London's West End, followed by smaller roles in British films such as One Wild Oat and Happiness Came Overnight (both 1951). Roger Moore also appeared in One Wild Oat, but she did not have a scene with him. Stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Jean Simmons were considered for the leading role in the romantic comedy A Heart and a Crown (1953). Instead, the completely unknown Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn was given the role of Princess Ann, who falls in love with a reporter (Gregory Peck) in Rome. A Heart and a Crown developed into a box office hit and made the 24-year-old a star overnight. For her first leading role, she also received the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role on 26 March 1954. Tribute To Actress Audrey Kathleen Ruston aka Audrey Hepburn, who had become a star with only one film, was one of the leading film actresses until the late 1960s. Almost every one of her films became a commercial success, many are considered classics of film history. Her last role was that of an angel in the film Always (1989) by Steven Spielberg. Tribute To Jeet Kune Do Martial Artist Lee Jun-fan aka Bruce Lee
Tribute To Martial Artist Lee Jun-fan aka Bruce Lee (November 27, 1940 in San Francisco; † July 20, 1973 in Hong Kong; born Lee Jun-fan) was a Sino-American martial artist, martial arts instructor and actor. He is considered an icon of martial arts films and is considered by many to be the greatest martial artist of the 20th century. He developed the martial arts style Jeet Kune Do. At the age of 13, he was introduced to Yip Man, one of the most famous masters of Wing Chun Kung Fu. He showed great interest in Wing Chun and trained privately with Yip Man and Wong Shun-leung. He revered Yip Man as a wise teacher and continued to visit him in later years. Among other things, he learned kicking techniques from Taekwondo master Jhoon Rhee. He quickly came to the realization that the true value of a martial art was to build self-confidence through physical combat skills to the point where one no longer felt the constant need to defend one's honor by fighting. He improved his skills through hard physical training and was thus capable of tremendous achievements. Martial Artist Sketch Tribute To Martial Artist Lee Jun-fan aka Bruce Lee
Martial art is a technique to protect oneself from enemy attacks. The decisive factor here is not the actual practicality of the respective techniques, but their subjective conceptual utility in a specific application scenario. This can be, for example, a sports fight, a martial duel or a self-defense situation. Accordingly, overcoming the opponent can translate into, among other things, a points victory, eliminating the opponent's ability to attack, ensuring one's own physical integrity, or, in extreme cases, killing the opponent. Some fighting systems are based on or tolerate the use of weapons, particularly striking and thrusting weapons and certain projectile weapons. Commonly, systems that use weapons augmented beyond one's own physical strength (e.g., by chemicals, motors, compressed air, computer technology) do not count as martial arts/martial arts. Martial systems are a worldwide, very old, and extremely diversified phenomenon that can be divided into myriad cultural practices, which in turn include their own sister and daughter systems. Unlike classical sports, combat systems are often influenced by cultic religious practices, ritual or modern dances, and movement theater; in some cases, conversely, they are also elements of these practices. From ancient to modern times, fighting elements were an integral part of many team and ball sports, as in hurling and knappan: fighting and playing tended to be viewed as a unit until, in the long run, the modern understanding of sport developed as a result of civilization processes, and fighting elements were outsourced to separate disciplines. In some traditional as well as modern sports the mixing of games and fighting is still clearly visible. In most cases, the training of martial arts/combat sports takes the form of a combination of learning and practicing techniques and applying them in dynamic duels or codified fight choreographies. Elements of flexibility, strength and speed training are also common. Combat theory or philosophy discussions may also be part of the training. The degree of professionalization of combat systems varies greatly. Formal training takes place in commercial clubs, public clubs, private households, military and police institutions, schools of general education, therapeutic institutions, and even prisons. A few have a highly professional league system; many more have umbrella organizations or similar national and international organizational structures. Tribute To Artist Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo Y Calderon aka Frida Kahlo (Freehand Drawing)
Tribute to artist Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo y Calderón aka Frida Kahlo (born 6 July 1907 in Coyoacán, Mexico City, as Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo y Calderón; † 13 July 1954 ibid) was a Mexican painter. She is one of the most important representatives of a popular development of surrealism, whereby her work sometimes shows elements of New Objectivity.Tribute to artist Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo y Calderón aka Frida Kahlo she is by far the most famous painter in Mexico, if not in Latin America. Her paintings have been officially declared a "national treasure" by the Mexican government. Her full-length self-portrait Raíces fetched US$ 5.6 million at auction in May 2006, making it the most expensive painting by a Latin American artist to date. Her eventful life contributed to her myth: her illness, her suffering, her marriage to artist Diego Rivera, his infidelity and her affairs. Added to this were her revolutionary zeal and a passionate patriotism. She liked to show herself in traditional costume, her hair done up in the manner of the women of Oaxaca and dressed in their traditional jewellery. In this way, she consciously emphasised her indigenous roots in public. This was unusual at the time, especially since racial criteria were decisive for one's position in the highly stratified Mexican society. As an artist, she dealt with her suffering - especially chronic illness - but also her marital problems in her paintings. Among her 143 paintings are 55 self-portraits. After countless operations on her vertebrae and the amputation of her right foot, hardly anything of Frida's joie de vivre remained in her art. She appears serious in all her paintings, but the seriousness is usually contrasted by bright colours. Her lady moustache and the eyebrows grown together become her "trademark" in her self-portraits.She often emphasises them much more than they were in reality. Often, small symbols in her paintings point to mental and physical wounds. Her works show surrealist influences, but she herself rejected this attribution. The artist noted in her diaries that she could not have endured the agonising existence without Diego's love. In her works, the artist often refers to pre-Columbian Mexican art of the Aztecs and Maya and reflects on European art history. Her works also deal with social and political problems. She was a convinced Marxist and expressed this in works such as "El marxismo dará salud a los enfermos"(1954) ('Marxism will bring healing to the sick').Product Number: E00474Product Name: FridaThis design comes with the following sizes:Size: 3.23"(w) X 4.37"(h) (82.0 X 111.0mm) Size: 4.92"(w) X 6.67"(h) (125.0 X 169.4mm) Size: 7.28"(w) X 9.87"(h) (184.8 X 250.6mm) Size: 9.22"(w) X 12.50"(h) (234.2 X 317.6mm)The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .VIP .HUSYou MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file. Tribute To Physicist A. Einstein aka Albert Einstein III
Tribute to physicist A. Einstein aka Albert Einstein (March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany; † April 18, 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey) was a German physicist with Swiss and US citizenship. He is considered one of the most important theoretical physicists in the history of science and one of the best-known scientists in the modern era worldwide. His research on the structure of matter, space, and time, as well as on the nature of gravity, significantly changed the previously held Newtonian worldview. His main work, the theory of relativity, made him world famous. In 1905, his work entitled On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies was published, the content of which is now known as the special theory of relativity. In 1915 he published the general theory of relativity. He also made significant contributions to quantum physics. "For his services to theoretical physics, especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect," he was awarded the Nobel Prize of 1921, which was presented to him in 1922. Tribute to physicist A. Einstein aka Albert Einstein is considered the epitome of a researcher and genius. He also used his extraordinary fame outside the scientific world in his work for international understanding, peace and socialism. The parents Hermann Einstein and Pauline Einstein both came from Jewish families that had been resident in the Swabian region for centuries. The maternal grandparents had changed their surname from Dörzbacher to Koch. The paternal grandparents still bore traditional Jewish first names, Abraham and Hindel or Helene Einstein. This changed with the parents of Tribute to physicist A. Einstein aka Albert Einstein. The paternal grandparents moved from Buchau to Ulm around 1870, where all their five of six children eventually lived, with the exception of Jakob Einstein. The wealth inherited from Abraham Einstein allowed Hermann Einstein around 1870 to buy the partnership of the bed feather factory Israel & Levi in the house Weinhof 19 in Ulm and thus to own half of this house.Product Number: N09337Product Name: Einstein-2This design comes with the following sizes:Size: 7.27"(w) X 8.34"(h) (184.6mm X 211.8mm) Size: 7.30"(w) X 8.38"(h) (185.4mm X 212.8mm) Size: 7.32"(w) X 8.42"(h) (186.0mm X 213.8mm) Size: 7.67"(w) X 8.81"(h) (194.8mm X 223.8mm) Size: 7.80"(w) X 8.97"(h) (198.2mm X 227.8mm) Size: 8.05"(w) X 9.24"(h) (204.4mm X 234.8mm) Size: 9.01"(w) X 10.35"(h) (228.8mm X 262.8mm) Size: 9.45"(w) X 10.86"(h) (240.0mm X 275.8mm) Size: 9.72"(w) X 11.17"(h) (247.0mm X 283.8mm) Size: 10.00"(w) X 11.49"(h) (254.0mm X 291.8mm) Size: 10.51"(w) X 12.08"(h) (267.0mm X 306.8mm) Size: 10.72"(w) X 12.31"(h) (272.4mm X 312.8mm) Size: 10.79"(w) X 12.39"(h) (274.0mm X 314.8mm) Size: 11.10"(w) X 12.75"(h) (282.0mm X 323.8mm) Size: 11.69"(w) X 13.42"(h) (296.8mm X 340.8mm) Size: 11.79"(w) X 13.54"(h) (299.4mm X 343.8mm)The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .PEC .U01You MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file. Tribute To Artist Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo Y Calderon aka Frida Kahlo (Frontal View)
She was a convinced Marxist and expressed this in works such as "El marxismo dará salud a los enfermos"(1954) ('Marxism will bring healing to the sick').Product Number: N10028Product Name: frida-tribute-toThis design comes with the following sizes:Size: 5.00"(w) X 6.95"(h) (127.0mm X 176.6mm)Size: 5.02"(w) X 6.99"(h) (127.6mm X 177.6mm)Size: 5.20"(w) X 7.24"(h) (132.0mm X 183.8mm)Size: 5.34"(w) X 7.43"(h) (135.6mm X 188.6mm)Size: 5.43"(w) X 7.54"(h) (137.8mm X 191.6mm)Size: 5.45"(w) X 7.58"(h) (138.4mm X 192.6mm)Size: 5.48"(w) X 7.62"(h) (139.2mm X 193.6mm)Size: 5.73"(w) X 7.98"(h) (145.6mm X 202.6mm)Size: 5.82"(w) X 8.09"(h) (147.8mm X 205.6mm)Size: 5.99"(w) X 8.33"(h) (152.2mm X 211.6mm)Size: 6.05"(w) X 8.41"(h) (153.6mm X 213.6mm)Size: 6.35"(w) X 8.84"(h) (161.4mm X 224.6mm)Size: 6.50"(w) X 9.04"(h) (165.0mm X 229.6mm)Size: 7.15"(w) X 9.94"(h) (181.6mm X 252.6mm)Size: 7.31"(w) X 10.18"(h) (185.8mm X 258.6mm)Size: 7.54"(w) X 10.50"(h) (191.6mm X 266.6mm)Size: 7.63"(w) X 10.61"(h) (193.8mm X 269.6mm)Size: 7.72"(w) X 10.73"(h) (196.0mm X 272.6mm)Size: 7.77"(w) X 10.81"(h) (197.4mm X 274.6mm)Size: 8.02"(w) X 11.17"(h) (203.8mm X 283.6mm)Size: 8.11"(w) X 11.28"(h) (206.0mm X 286.6mm)Size: 8.25"(w) X 11.48"(h) (209.6mm X 291.6mm)Size: 8.84"(w) X 12.30"(h) (224.6mm X 312.4mm)Size: 8.98"(w) X 12.50"(h) (228.2mm X 317.4mm)Size: 9.72"(w) X 13.52"(h) (247.0mm X 343.4mm)Size: 9.81"(w) X 13.65"(h) (249.2mm X 346.6mm)Size: 10.17"(w) X 14.15"(h) (258.4mm X 359.4mm)Size: 10.69"(w) X 14.86"(h) (271.4mm X 377.4mm)The following formats are included in the file you will receive: .DST .EXP .JEF .PES .VP3 .XXX .PEC .U01You MUST have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine to use this file.
