Clover

Clover, or Trifolium, is a genus of plants consisting of about 300 species of flowering plants. Clover is a common name for plants of the genus Trifolium, which consist of three leaves. The most commonly grown clover species are white clover and red clover, which are used as forage plants for animals. Clover is also eaten by wildlife such as bears, deer, and birds. The plant was eaten raw and cooked by Native Americans, and the seeds were used to make bread. It is also possible to make tea from the flowers.
