Smiley Character V

A smiley (to smile) is a graphic representation of a facial expression. A smiley is often used to reflect a certain emotion or to make it clear. Smileys belong to the group of emojis or emoticons. The original form of the electronic smiley consists of ASCII characters and can thus be used in all message forms, regardless of support for graphic formats. The basic forms :-) for positive feelings and jokes and :-( for negative feelings were proposed by Scott E. Fahlman, who is thus considered the inventor of electronic smileys. These graphics indicate faces tilted to the left, looking happy or sad.
