Embroidery: Machine does not see the files
Three conditions can lead to this
- The media is not listed in the embroidery machine manufacturer's compatibility list. Check there which media is recommended for your embroidery machine.
- The media is incorrectly formatted. Check the embroidery machine manufacturer's recommendation of which formatting the media can read. In most cases this is FAT.
- Some embroidery machines expect the file names to be a maximum of 12 characters long (8 characters for the name, the dot and 3 characters for the extension) and to be saved in upper case only. (Old DOS format e.g. ABCDEFGH.PES or 12345678910).
